하이브리드 큐토프 텐덤 질량분석기는 정확한 분자량 측정 및 고분해능 스팩트럼 생산 능력을 이용하여, 미지물질에 대한 구조를 신뢰성 높게 동정 할 수 있어 정성적 분석에 주로 활용됨.
1) General Specification.
(1) Mass Resolution : Measured at m/z 1,522 after automatic tuning greater than 20,000
(2) Dynamic range : 5 decades or better
(3) Mass accuracy of MS mode, (Electrospray on-column, 400 ul/min)
- Measured at the (M+H)+ ion of reserpine (m/z 609.2807) using an internal mass reference
- Better than 2 ppm RMS as measured from 10 repeat injections(typically 1 to 2 ppm).
(4) Sensitivity of MS mode (Electrospray on-column, 400 uL/min)
- 1 pg LC/MS injection of reserpine. Signal-to-noise for the reserpine (M+H)+ at m/z 609.2807 will give 10:1 RMS (typical 30:1 RMS)
(5) Sensitivity of MS/MS mode (Electrospray on-column, 400 μL/min)
- 1 pg LC/MS injection of reserpine. Signal-to-noise for most intense product ions (174, 195,397,448 m/z) will give 50:1 RMS (typical 200:1 RMS)
(6) Spectral Acquisition rate of MS mode
- m/z 100 to 1700 in MS mode while maintaining a resolution of 20,000 at m/z 2,722 will be 20 spectra/sec.
(7) Spectral Acquisition rate of MS/MS mode
- m/z 100 to 1700 in MS/MS mode while maintaining a resolution of 20,000 at m/z 1,522 will be 1 MS and 10 MS/MS spectra/sec.
(8) Scan mode
- Include MS scan, MS SIM, MS/MS product Ion scan, MRM, MS/MS neutral loss/gain scan and parent ion scan.
- Scan modes are time programmable for both polarity (positive & negative ion) and type of scan.
(9) Autotune
- Software control of MS tuning parameters for all Scan, SIM, MRM, and linked Scan modes including neutral loss/gain.
- All tune files can be stored as part of a method.
- Positive and negative Autotune modes; Autotune can be customized. Calibrant delivery system is built into cabinet and under complete software control. No need for external syringe pump for MS tuning. Instrument can be tuned manually if desired.
