1. Features The measuring head unit and vickers indenter for automated ultra micro hardness system are required to be able to test load-unload type and partial load-unload type indentation test (ESP TEST) according to ISO14577 and DIN50359 standard.ESP (Enhanced Stiffness Procedure) method by partial load-unload method can get the phased profile for depth such as universal/martens hardness(HU/HM), Vickers hardness (HV), indentation hardness (HIT), indentation modulus(EIT) and creep properties, respectively. < Merits of the ESP method >1. Quick acquisition of important characteristic quantities.2. Depth-related presentation of EIT, HIT, HM …etc evaluation of coating systems.3. Measurements at one measurement location. No influence through local material differences.4. Characteristic quantities such as HMCR provide extensive additional material characteristics.< Assessment Items >1. A change on elapsed time of hardness from surface to inner position of the samples can be measured with nano-scale as a unit through indentation hardness test on coated surface. 2.
