플라스틱 패키징 소재의 열변형 신뢰성 분석에 필요한 열변형 온도(HDT) 및 연화점 온도(Vicat)를 측정하는 장비로 온도 범위는 300도까지 측정 가능하다. 열변형 온도는 측정하고자 하는 시편이 0.254mm 휘어질 때의 온도이며, 연화점 온도는 측정하고자 하는 시편이 1mm 깊이로 들어갔을 때의 온도이다. 이 장비는 고온에서의 패키징 소재의 강성을 나타내는 중요한 척도가 되는 특성을 파악하여 신소재 개발 및 평가가 가능한 장비이다.
