System Overview
● The blade static & fatigue test system is for performing static and fatigue tests of wind turbine blades, whose maximum span length is 66m.
● The static test system consists of five independent winches subjected to horizontal loads and one independent controller. ● The fatique test system consists of two actuators and one independent controller. The actuators operated by hydraulic power must be performed by one of the two actuating methods such as resonance excitation and direct load displacement, or combination of them. ● The fatique test must be capable of testing wind turbine blades to dual-axis direction as well as single-axis direction including flap-wise and edge-wise direction. ● The system's DAQ must have enough channels to simultaneously perform both static and fatigue tests, and be completely linked with the test controllers without any interfacing problem II. General Requirement
Winch system for static test
1) The static test system must be capable of performing a static test of a blade with maximum 66m to horizontal direction.
2) The winch system consists of five winches that could be independently installed and controlled.
3) The winch assembly is free to move using a crane in a test building according to blade's length, and should be capable of setting up its face direction and then mounting itself on the building's strong floor.
4) Must design and manufacture it to be fixed 1m apart from a T-slot floor. The load transmitted on the floor should be sealed and compressed (without any bending load) in a truss form design.
5) The load height can be adjusted.
