The system software must to be able to automatically and independently set and hold the leaf chamber CO2 mole fraction between 0 and 3000 PPM, and the H20 mole fraction to a user-specified value using a fast null balance. 7. The console must have on-board, user-programmability to allow the modification of the writing of control ram and memory system 128MB RAM for operation and 64MB flash memory for system software and data storage 8. Real-time numeric graphic fluorescence and gas exchange data are available on the console. Stored data files can be viewed, graphed, and edited on-board, or quickly downloaded to the computer in spreadsheet-ready format. Analog output of raw fluorescence data is also provided. 9.
